Forrest Clay joins Kalsi Engineering in our Rotary Seal Testing Laboratory

Forrest Clay joined Kalsi Engineering’s Rotary Seals Testing Team at our Sugar Land, Texas, facility in October 2021. He is one of three laboratory technicians who set up, run, and disassemble rotary seal tests. Forrest also helps in the Kalsi Seal Production Department by inspecting rotary seals, thus ensuring the seals meet our rigorous quality control requirements including our certified ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.

Forrest grew up in Missouri City, Texas, and has worked on cars most of his life having started his first vehicle project with his father at a very young age. Forrest acquired much of his knowledge of and appreciation for vintage and modern machinery from working with his father and grandfathers. During the seven years at his previous employer, a national tire shop franchise, Forrest worked his way up from service technician to Workflow Manager. In his final role, Forrest coached his staff on safer and more efficient workplace practices. His hands-on experience coupled with his many years of working at the tire franchise makes Forrest an ideal addition to our testing team.

While raising a family and working, Forrest has been pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the Texas A&M Corpus Christi campus. He expects to graduate in Fall 2022. Forrest is a safety-conscious individual who honed his OSHA-related safety-mindedness while performing offshore and shoreline oil cleanup through a university program.

Kalsi Engineering is pleased to welcome Forrest to the Kalsi Engineering team. Please feel free to stop by and say hello to Forrest next time you visit our rotary seal testing facility!
