The molding shrink rate of certain composite high temperature material combinations differs from the shrink rate of the standard seal materials. Shaft and groove dimensions may require adjustment if the seals are made from tooling that is based on the shrink rate of typical HNBR seal materials, particularly with larger seal diameters. Due to shrink rate and lubrication considerations, it is recommended that dedicated tooling should be used for High Temperature Seals. Call for additional information.
